On 1/6, Callan had his cast removed, and on 1/9 we had our first visit at ForMotion. Callan and I had been there previously to meet the team and have a consult, but this was Zack’s first time. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel at home and comfortable the entire visit. Knowing we’ll be spending a lot of time there makes us feel so much better.

Callan was fitted for his “shrinker socks,” which are compression socks that help make his legs the same size to allow for an easier fitting process. After about two weeks of wearing them, we’ll go back to begin the casting process, and from there start fittings.

We’re so excited for these next steps. It won’t be easy, but with everything he’s already been through, we have no doubt he will continue to excel. 🧡
