Life Lately 🤍

Lately we've been busy learning all kinds of new things—and conquering them one step at a time.
Right now we're focusing on walking on uneven surfaces, getting up and down from different terrains, tackling hills, and learning stairs. Stairs have definitely been the biggest challenge so far, but we're getting there!
Every Monday we head to physical therapy, and it has been incredible for Callan. His therapist constantly challenges him, yet he has never once wanted to give up or cried because something was hard. He truly loves being there, learning new skills, and seeing what he's capable of. Watching his determination is something I'll never take for granted.
We did hit a little bump in the road with one of his leggies after a big growth spurt. A few adjustments were needed, but everyone came together to make sure he got exactly what he needed. Coordinating between multiple doctors and offices isn't always easy, but when everyone shares the same goal, it makes the process so much smoother.
It's hard to believe we're already at the end of July. Next month our sweet boy turns 2 years old! Since receiving his prosthetic legs in March, he has overcome more obstacles than we ever imagined. Watching him grow stronger, more confident, and more independent every single day has been nothing short of incredible.
We're also getting so excited for the First Annual Callan's Cup Golf Tournament this September. We can't wait to celebrate our amazing little boy while raising awareness for fibular hemimelia, limb differences, prosthetics, orthotics, and the incredible community that has supported us along the way.
Thank you to everyone who continues to cheer Callan on. Your encouragement means more than you'll ever know. 🧡
